S-TYPE

S-TYPE 3.0
The S-Type 3.0 is well equipped with a 235 horsepower V6 engine. It comes with a 6-speed ZF transmission, 18 inch Triton wheels, dynamic stability control, and dual zone climate control.
S-TYPE 4.2L
The 4.2 S-Type brings more power to a luxurious machine. The 4.2 comes with a 300 horsepower V8. The 4.2 comes with 18 inch Vulcan wheels. Standard features include moonroof, 320 watt Alpine premium sound system with in dash cd player and 6 disc changer mounted in the trunk.
S-TYPE R
The S-Type R model is a sedan that is equipped with not only luxury, but Speed! It is powered by a 4.2L supercharged V8 that produces 400 horsepower. The R comes with 19 inch Barcelona wheels and R-Performance brakes. It also comes standard with stainless steel exhaust tips, black window surrounds, body colored exterior mirror caps, grill surround, bumper blades, and a rear spoiler.
Although the GPS navigation system is still optional on the 3.0 it is standard on the 4.2 and the R models. This system is a DVD-based system that allows for only one disk to access the whole country.
Bluetooth technology is now a standard feature for 2008 with the GPS system. On all Jaguar approved cellular phones this feature enables you to talk wireless through the automobile's radio system. Bluetooth uses the car's speaker and hidden microphone. Another feature of the Bluetooth is having your current phone book displayed on the navigation screen. This allows you to dial from the screen, answer phone calls, and see who is calling.
